Late January I visited Dresden again. The main reason was a birthday party of a friend of mine but it happens to be the day of my fathers birthday, as well. Getting the opportunity to visit both in one journey, I booked the train tickets and left Potsdam early on Saturday. The weekend was great and I got several times into moments having myself notice how much I miss my former hometown. And also the luck to be able to visit it now and then. So this blog post is a friendly greeting from a place which will forever be a part of me.

One thing I planned in advance was the visit of a place I learned of via social media: a small book store/café selling only English literature called Read the Room. A lovely place recently opened in the heart of Dresden with a new approach to be a cozy place, I haven’t seen before in this city. I spend more than an hour there reading before I had to leave for the train. It surely wasn’t the last time I’ve been there.
